Update 22-08-14: Looks like the issue has been resolved and the new version has propagated.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we have had reports that AE V1.1.3 has not yet propagated through to all regional versions of the Mac App Store. It is unusual for it to take so long, so we're assuming it's some trouble at Apple's end.
Thanks for your understanding.

It's here. Aperture Exporter now has Aperture Faces support. For sure this was the most requested feature request and many people were waiting for a version that supported faces.
How it works:
AE reads the Aperture database in order to determine which images have identified faces. Those images receive keywords that indicate the faces in the image. The format of the keyword is:
Face - [name]

It's only been 8 days since Aperture Exporter went gold; with availability here from the website and in the Mac App Store. In that time, we've not only been able to do a couple of maintenance releases; we've also added two of the most request features in version 1.0.4:

We are very pleased to announce that Aperture Exporter has gone gold and Release 1.0.2 is now available for general usage. I'd sincerely like to thank all of our beta testers who provided bug reports, feature suggestions, and donations. I know many of you have even used the beta to export your main libraries. Without your help, AE would not have been possible. Of course we will continue to keep on top of all bug reports and add new features based on your feedback. Upgrading to version 1.0.2 is easy right in Aperture Exporter.

We're happy to announce that Aperture Exporter is now available from the Mac App Store.
We've had to change the name a bit to Exporter For Aperture due to trademark concerns raised in the review process, but rest assured that it is indeed the same application.
The current version available from the App Store is 1.0.1 and includes all changes up to and including beta version 0.5.3.

Release Candidate 5 is now available. Thanks to one of our beta testers for suggesting this new feature.
RC5 adds a new advanced option: By default AE saves disk space and time by exporting a single original file even where there are multiple versions derived from it in a single folder. However the metadata picked for the original is from a random version.
By selecting this new option, a separate original file will be created for each version.
Upgrading to RC5 is easy right in Aperture Exporter. Simply use the AE menu item Aperture Exporter, Check for updates....

Release Candidate 4 is now available. Special thanks goes out to our beta testers. RC4 includes:
√ Warning when invalid license file detected.
√ Try to detect if Aperture crashed and wait until it’s available again during an export and continue where it left off.
√ Fixes AE interacts with Aperture to handle languages other than english.
√ Continue with export of originals even when TIFFs/JPEGs with baked-in adjustments cannot be created.

Release Candidate 3 adds support for OS X 10.7 (Lion) and above and corrects an issue where UI dialogs were missing from OS X 10.8.
Upgrading to RC3 is easy right in Aperture Exporter. Simply use the AE menu item Aperture Exporter, Check for updates....
